Presentation Abstract (150 – 500 words) See Abstract Writing Guidelines Here See the 17 goals here In today's world with rapid advancements in technology, AI-powered job-matching platforms like ChatGPT and LinkedIn are transforming how young professionals navigate their careers. According to Yahoo News, '93% of Gen Z use AI at work,' underscoring AI’s growing role in career planning. This study examines whether AI can help Gen Z find their ideal jobs more efficiently in an increasingly competitive job Market to assess AI’s impact on job searching, we surveyed 20 Gen Z individuals about their career experiences. The results were evenly split, 10 participants found AI beneficial in job discovery, while the other 10 believed AI lacked the personal touch necessary for true passion exploration. One respondent stated, 'AI can't help you discover your true passion you have to explore and develop skills that resonate with you, Others noted that AI aids in job interview preparation and industry research, helping them navigate the hiring process more confidently.Moving forward in this research, it is essential to ensure that the methods used such as surveys and analysis of AI-driven job-matching tools directly support the study’s claims. Future research should explore larger, more diverse samples and examine AI’s effectiveness across different industries. AI-driven platforms like LinkedIn personalize job recommendations based on users' skills, interests, and career goals, making job searching more efficient. However, AI’s usefulness varies by industry. While it can assist aspiring doctors and managers by offering career guidance and skill development resources, those in hands-on trades like electricians or mechanics may find AI less helpful, as it cannot replace practical training and field experience.AI is reshaping how Gen Z navigates career opportunities, providing tools for job matching, networking, and interview preparation. While AI enhances job searches in fields that rely on digital tools and strategic decision-making, its effectiveness is more limited in hands-on professions. As this study progresses, ensuring alignment between research methods and findings will be critical. Future research should further investigate how AI impacts career satisfaction and long-term job stability.
