2.The cafe environment near Kean University includes popular chains such as Panera Bread, Starbucks, The Habit Burger Grill, and Cold Stone. While these locations provide convenient food and beverage options, they tend to focus on quick service and can be relatively expensive for students. Additionally, they do not offer a culturally diverse menu or entertainment-focused atmosphere where students can comfortably socialize, study, or spend time between and after classes.The objective of this study was to determine people's preferences and palates for the foods they would want to eat. We wanted to know what the students thought of this new business and how interested they were.3. MethodsThis study uses Competitive analysis, SWOT analysis, and survey to evaluate the café market near Kean University.4. ImpactThis research emphasises the importance of cultural diversity and entertainment in developing a café that aligns with the interests of Kean University students. Survey results indicated that many students were interested in happy hour drink specials, extended late-night hours, and entertainment options, and stated they would likely visit a café offering these features near campus.
