Abstract:

The title of our research day project is “Raising Awareness for Healthy Lifestyle Habits for College Students”. We chose this topic because we believe college students are preoccupied with responsibilities such as school, personal affairs, and career responsibilities. Exercising and healthy habits tend to be difficult to fit into these busy schedules and become a strenuous element for students to handle. The objective of the study is to understand the barriers that prevent college students from maintaining healthy lifestyle habits. We aim to do this with the help of survey data to help identify our target market and establish clear campaign goals. Throughout this study, we will use a “mixed-method approach” utilizing surveys of 40 participants and qualitative interviews. Through utilizing this study, findings could help college students lead healthy, easy to maintain lifestyle habits in their day to day life. Keywords: Health Awareness, Exercise, College Students, Lifestyle Changes, Fitness
