Abstract:

Titleist and Taylormade have both dominated the golf industry, with both of those brands combined have a usage of over 80% on tour. Throughout this research, we looked at both golf companies and how much profitable is one more than the other. Gathering data of their ratio analysis, sales, gross profit, net income, and debt determines how well do these companies profit and make money. We also looked at the various history of both companies and how popular these companies have gotten over the past few years. We also took various equations such as ROE and ROA to determine the difference of how successful these companies are. With the game of golf growing for amateurs as well, we looked at what the average amateur plays compared to the pro golfer on tour. Our findings are presented and analyzed to show that one of these companies has the slightest edge when it comes to popularity and sales, proving which company is more profitable in the long term.
