Abstract:

I chose gender quality and rights. What drew me to this, nothing personal drew me to this topic but I thought it was a good topic to talk about because in our society now gender equality has gotten better but unfortunately it is still a thing but back then it was much bigger this talks about he wages of the working people how women and men are getting paid the same amount of money for doing the same job. I also picked this because of the gender equality not only in the workplace but also in the school systems. In the classes in education the teachers are more likely to pick on the boys in the class thinking they know what they are talking about because they tend to be more confidant when they are in class. I did have some prior knowledge because this has always been an interest to me because I thought that it was an important topic and everyone should think about it. This has connection to the human rights and justice because the human rights are based on the idea that all people are born free and equal. This would include getting the same pay as everyone else and not have to worry about that when it comes to their gender. Also everyone should have the access to free education for public institutions.
