Abstract:
This study explores whether gamification can improve employee engagement in the workplace. Many organizations struggle to keep employees motivated and involved in their work. Gamification uses game elements such as points, badges, rewards, and leaderboards in non-game settings to increase interest and participation. This research aims to examine how these game-based features influence employees’ motivation, satisfaction, and overall engagement at work.
To investigate this, a survey will be given to employees in companies that use gamification tools to measure their motivation and engagement levels. In addition, short interviews are conducted to learn about employees’ experiences with these systems. The data is analyzed using basic statistical methods and thematic analysis to identify key patterns and relationships.
This research expects to show that gamification can positively affect employee engagement by making tasks more enjoyable and encouraging active participation. It also aims to identify which gamification elements are most effective in improving workplace motivation.
This study highlights gamification as a simple and modern way to improve employee engagement. The findings may help managers create better strategies to motivate employees and improve workplace performance.
