Abstract:

The purpose of this study is to explore the effects of music therapy on anxiety and depression among adults aged 18-65 who have been diagnosed with these mental health conditions as a complementary treatment. Traditional methods such as medication and psychotherapy are not universally effective. The situation leading to increased interest in alternative approaches like music therapy, which utilizes music to support emotional and mental well-being.To investigate this, the study will employ a mixed-methods approach, gathering both quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data will include symptom scores measured through surveys and psychological assessments. The qualitative feedback will capture participants’ personal experiences and perceptions of emotional stability and therapy effectiveness.By examining the outcomes of music therapy and its benefits, this research aims to show its effectiveness in managing mental health symptoms and its potential integration into standard mental health care practices.
