Abstract:
Women and children are disproportionately affected by sex trafficking, which is one of the most widespread and destructive types of contemporary slavery. Sex trafficking is the act of coercing, extorting, or compelling someone to engage in commercial sex activities. This research examines the impact that sex trafficking has on women and children, and looks at the intricate global economy. This study will include an analysis of how social media platforms are used for trafficking, the tactics traffickers employ to lure victims, and how it is being combatted. The research investigation highlights the pressing need for a comprehensive, international strategy to topple the structures that support this flagrant human rights violation.
