Abstract:

PurposeThe purpose of this is to use nanoparticles to improve makeup foundation to stay on longer. Nanoparticles help the product stay on longer, help the texture, and improve absorption into the skin more than makeup that has no nanoparticles.MethodsBiosynthesis is used by taking plants, or fungi to synthesize the nanoparticles. When applied to foundations, these biosynthesized nanoparticles enhance makeup absorption into the skin, reducing the need for potentially harmful chemicals.ConclusionNanoparticles have improved makeup foundations all around the world however, it can be harmful because the nanoparticles are going deep into the skin and can end up in the bloodstream which is dangerous. Overall it has helped the foundation and helped the ingredients in the makeup last longer than chemicals, the potential risks associated with biosynthesized nanoparticles will also be discussed.SignificanceThe significance of nanotechnology in foundation is better absorption, long lasting, and has improved the products. Makeup can be expensive and when it comes off early it is not good for the consumer because they spent money on it. Nanoparticles allow it to last long and make it worth the money.
