Abstract:
The retail beauty industry is a booming multibillion dollar market currently being dominated by two powerhouses- Ulta Beauty and Sephora. These companies utilize unique business and financial models in order to stay competitive in the field and retain consumers.As both companies continue to grow, being able to understand their financial performances provides insight into which is more likely to succeed in the long run.In this study, the aim will be to conduct a competitive analysis of Ulta and Sephora and evaluate the companies revenue growth, profit margins, and financial stability over the years.The research will consist of using data readily available online including financial statements, consumer and market data, stock market performances, etc.The results will be able to offer insights into which company demonstrates stronger financial performance, has promising growth trajectories, and drives for profitability. This research may be beneficial to investors, industry analysts, as well as the consumer.This research may be able to reveal more about each company's pricing strategies and stability, helping customers make informed decisions about which brand to support.
