Abstract:
A Comparison of Freelancers and Full-Time EmployeesAbstractFreelancing and Full-Time Employment are two unique work styles that have impacted the lives of workers. There are many factors that influence people to choice one way of working versus the other. Freelancing brings flexibility rather than stability. While full-time employment brings stability rather than flexibility. When weighing out the options of choosing one or the other, you must value time or solidity.Choosing flexibility or stability is important because it helps you find the right job and fit you are looking for to secure a long-term job. As fellow generation-z, we expect some of us to look for jobs that are flexible hour wise, as opposed to a regular 9 to 5. But some still stick with traditional full-time employment. In our study to help people find out which working style is best for them, we will survey people specifically generation-z, asking them what they think of freelance jobs and full-time employment. We will also ask them what type of job they would consider long term. By asking generation-z these types of questions related to jobs, we can gauge what kind of jobs young people would consider long term.We expect the results of our survey to be mixed, as some people value job flexibility over stability or vice versa.Key Words: Freelance, Full-Time Employees, Stability, Flexibility, Generation-Z
