Abstract:

This project examines how contemporary technologies including virtual reality, 3D imaging, and AI-based photo restoration are transforming the ways in which the Holocaust is remembered and taught. These digital tools broaden access to survivor testimonies and historical materials, helping ensure that their stories remain meaningful and relevant for future generations. The topic directly intersects with human rights education, as the preservation of Holocaust memory serves as a critical reminder of the consequences of hatred, discrimination, and genocide. At the same time, the use of advanced technological methods raises important ethical considerations related to historical accuracy, authenticity, and the respectful representation of victims.
